Short path from an empty trial to a router that authenticates customers.
1
Create your ISP
Open Get Started, name the business, pick a subdomain, and set the owner password. We email a 6-digit code first. The account is created only after that code is confirmed. You receive a trial; the length comes from the default platform plan. No card is required to begin.
2
Connect a MikroTik
From Devices → Routers (or the first-run wizard) copy the provision script and paste it in Terminal. Toggle Remote Connection after you add the router to get WinBox login details (Connect To, login, password) that work from anywhere, including behind CGNAT or Starlink.
3
Multi WAN Support
On Devices → Routers, open Multi-WAN on a router. Add every internet link (fibre, Starlink, LTE), each on its own Ethernet port. Distance 1 is primary; 2 is backup. Leave Share customer traffic off for failover. Turn it on (PCC) only if both links should serve customers at once, then Apply. A router with no extra uplinks keeps using its single WAN port.
4
Packages and vouchers
A package is price, speed, and validity. Toggle hotspot, PPPoE, agent resale, and WhatsApp Sells per package. Generate voucher batches with prefix, length, QR, and a print template. Giveaways are excluded from revenue.
5
Captive portal
Phones on the hotspot are redirected to your branded portal. Settings → Portal studio has a gallery of original looks; pick one, then override colour, type, copy, and contact. Customers buy a package (Paystack / Flutterwave) or redeem a voucher. Featured packages, ads, and optional free-trial flows live here.
6
Taking money
Put your own Paystack or Flutterwave keys in Settings → Payment Gateways so online sales settle to you. That is required outside Nigeria — WixTechNet's gateway only collects for Nigerian ISPs. Walk-in payments are recorded on Payments. What you pay WixTechNet is ₦10,000/mo or 3% PAYE in Nigeria, and a flat $6/mo everywhere else.
7
WhatsApp Sells
From Communication → WhatsApp Sells, paste your Meta Phone Number ID, permanent access token, and App Secret. Copy the webhook URL and verify token into the Meta app and subscribe to messages. Turn on packages with the WhatsApp Sells toggle. A customer texts the business number, picks a plan, pays your Paystack or Flutterwave, and receives the voucher in the chat.
8
Access points and remote configuration
Record every AP under Devices → Access Points so an outage names the pole rather than a MAC. Press Configure on one and its own web page opens in your browser through the router — TP-Link EAP and CPE, Ruijie, Grandstream, and anything else with a web interface — with no site visit and no port forwarding. For work that needs a real network connection, issue yourself a staff WireGuard profile and reach the kit directly.
9
Wallet, payouts, and refunds
If you are in Nigeria and have not connected your own gateway, WixTechNet collects on your behalf and credits your wallet; request a payout to your bank from Finance. Outside Nigeria you must add your own keys — we do not collect for foreign ISPs. With your own keys, money never touches us. Either way a card payment can be refunded from Payments, and whatever it bought stops working at the same moment.
10
Alerts and billing dates
You are told before anything happens to your account: trial ending, invoice issued, payment due in three days, and the exact date the amount would be taken from your wallet. After the grace period an unpaid invoice is debited from the wallet automatically, and only if that fails is the account suspended. Everything also lands in the in-app bell.
11
Staff, agents, and help
Staff & Access defines who can see finance, customers, or the network. Voucher agents get their own login and wallet. In-app Help (after sign-in) opens a ticket to WixTechNet for platform issues. Customer WiFi problems stay on Communication → Support Tickets.
Need the operator console?
After you sign in, Help lists keyboard shortcuts and opens a ticket to WixTechNet. For sales or onboarding before you have an account, use Contact.
